SUBHATOSH MAJUMDAR

Founder of the firm, Mr. Majumdar started his career as a technical assistant in the Patent Department of a reputed Patent Law firm. Thereafter, he started his independent practice and founded the firm. With over 30 years of experience as an Intellectual Property Law practitioner, he remains a leading member of the legal team in the firm and handles litigations in all branches of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). He also leads the patent contentious team and has handled matters in areas like biochem and electronics. He has to his merit several successful passing off and other critical IP court cases. He has several publications to his credit.

A vocal supporter of creating awareness about Intellectual Property in India in universities, at the level of the government, private labs and corporate sectors, and also the Indian Patent Office, Mr. Majumdar also specializes in licensing in different IPR related matters. He has been a member of illustrious faculties and delivered lectures in several workshops and seminars relating to patents, copyright, trade mark and other IPR related issues.

He is a member of AIPPI, INTA, FICPI and APAA.
