OUR STORY AND HISTORY

S. Majumdar & Co., was founded in 1993 by Mr. Subhatosh Majumdar after he acquired acumen and skills of diverse nature in IPR practice having started his career as a patent assistant in the late 70s and then with diverse experience in patent work became a full blown patent professional. Later with his exposure to main stream legal practice in a reputed legal chamber he IPR litigation practice was added to his portfolio and had handled matters in all facets of IPR. That helped him to set up a full service Intellectual Property firm.Branches were set up from time to time.  As a result of quality work the firm grew steadily from 4 members in 1993 to about 100 today. The firm specializes in the practice of Intellectual Property Laws including Patents, Trademarks, Industrial Designs, Copyright, Geographical Indications and Trade secrets. The firm has also ventured into Domain disputes, Licensing, Investigations and Litigations.
